The Las Vegas Legends indoor soccer team will play its home games at the Orleans Arena as a part of a new league, the team announced Friday.
The Legends are scheduled to play a preseason game on Oct. 12 and open the season Oct. 26 at the Orleans Arena.
Last season, the Legends won its division of the Professional Arena Soccer League and lost in the playoff semifinals. They split their home games between the Orleans Arena and the Las Vegas Sports Park.
After a merger of the PASL and the Major Indoor Soccer League, the Legends became part of the Major Arena Soccer League, which includes 24 teams in the U.S. and Mexico. Las Vegas will play in the Pacific Division along with Seattle and four California teams — San Diego, Sacramento, Ontario and Turlock.
