Lindsey, Jones lead 51s past River Cats

John Lindsey hit a two-run homer in the sixth inning to forge a 3-all tie, and the 51s went ahead on an RBI-groundout in the seventh as Las Vegas beat the Sacramento River Cats for the second straight night, 4-3 in a Pacific Coast League game in Sacramento, Calif.
Greg Jones (2-0) picked up the win, pitching 2 2/3 innings of one-hit relief in support of starter Justin Orenduff.
Brian Falkenborg recorded his first save for Las Vegas.
Lindsey's one-out homer, his first of the season, came off Sacramento reliever Brad Kilby (0-1).
The River Cats had taken a 3-1 lead on a two-run homer by Todd Linden with one out in the fifth.
Las Vegas scored the winning run in the sixth when Xavier Paul grounded out to shortstop, bringing home Luis Maza from third base. Maza walked to lead off the inning, then moved to third on a fly-ball single to center by Danny Ardoin.
John-Ford Griffin drove in Las Vegas' first run, in the second inning.
