Lindsey, Stults propel 51s past Round Rock

John Lindsey drove in three runs Saturday to lead the 51s to a 5-3 Pacific Coast League win over the Round Rock Express in Round Rock, Texas.
Lindsey finished 3-for-3, including a two-run homer in the fourth inning and an RBI double in the seventh, and walked twice.
Winning pitcher Eric Stults (2-3) helped himself at the plate, going 2-for-2 with an RBI single in a three-run fourth inning for Las Vegas (15-14). Stults allowed one run on four hits and two walks in six innings, with five strikeouts.
Reggie Abercrombie went 2-for-4 with a two-run double in the eighth for Round Rock (10-18), which was outhit 13-8.
Terry Tiffee and Kevin Howard each went 2-for-5 for the 51s. Tiffee scored twice.
Fernando Nieve (1-3) started for the Express and gave up four runs on 10 hits and one walk in five innings.
