Jeff Foster, a 34-year veteran of the drag racing community, was named director of operations at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Foster, a native of Kent, Wash., will oversee all day-to-day and competition-related matters at The Strip.
"We're thrilled to have someone with Jeff's background and expertise to manage one of the finest drag-racing facilities in the world," LVMS president Chris Powell said. "Jeff has built solid relationships with NHRA officials, local and national competitors as well as our staff during his time in drag racing. He's a very strong addition to the speedway team."
