HIGH SIDE, LOW SIDE

The Las Vegas Review-Journal’s Jeff Wolf and Ron Kantowski each week select five highlights (Winner’s Circle) and five lowlights (Backmarkers) from the previous weekend in motor sports.

WINNER'S CIRCLE
Wolf says...

1. Kyle is truckin’: Give the Las Vegas kid big kudos for winning Friday’s NASCAR Truck Series race to give his Kyle Busch Motorsports team its first title in a major series.

  Kantowski says ...

1. Sweet racing home in Alabama: The Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car series this weekend will compete on a road course located 20 miles from downtown Birmingham amid the small-town backdrop of Leeds. Not Birmingham and Leeds in England. Birmingham and Leeds in Alabama. The 17-turn circuit with left- AND right-hand turns is called Barber Motorsports Park, and, quite frankly, I'm not sure what the Allisons are going to make of it.
