Ochocinco’s latest stunt mostly bull

Details have begun to emerge about the publicity stunt, er, bull-riding appearance Chad Ochocinco is planning this weekend.
Apparently, the concept was hatched the same way most things in Ochocinco's life are these days: on Twitter.
In response to a Professional Bull Riders Twitter poll asking how long the wide receiver could last on a bull -- an outgrowth of a challenge he issued to star bull rider Valdiron de Oliveira --Ochocinco posted "10 seconds easy."
He followed it up moments later.
"The real question is not how long I can last on the bull but how long the bull can last with me riding him or her," obviously not realizing all bulls are male.
PBR president Sean Gleason quickly went to work ironing out the details and offering up an official challenge. Ochocinco would get $10,000 just for getting on a bull. If he can ride it for eight seconds, the tour will give him a Ford F-150 truck and allow him to rename the bull.
A USA Today story says if the Cincinnati Bengals star fails to show up for the challenge, the bull will be renamed #58 No Show Cinco, the number being the reverse of the player's jersey number.
Ochocinco, who recently tried out for a Major League Soccer team, has said he will give the truck away to one of his followers should he win, but there is little chance of him actually accomplishing the feat.
Ochocinco has called out famed bull Bushwacker, a beast that has bucked 20 of 21 riders in PBR events.
While Leftovers is guessing the whole fiasco never really happens, we're pretty sure if it does go down, Bushwacker's name is quite safe.
■ DANGEROUS 'DO -- Though it was overshadowed by Andrew Bynum's antics, an Australian rules football player was ejected for a far more bizarre reason this past weekend.
Simpson's Nathan Van Someren was tossed from a game against Otway Districts after an umpire deemed his spiky Mohawk unsafe.
Strangely enough, the midfielder played in the first and second quarters without incident. He has also played with the same haircut for the last three seasons. It's unclear why the official made the decision to eject him.
Regardless, Van Someren was sent to the showers early, giving him plenty of time to work on his hair.
■ INJURED RESERVE -- Before Wednesday's game, Oklahoma City guard Nate Robinson had yet to see a minute of action in the Thunder's nine playoff games, but that hasn't made him immune to injury.
The diminutive benchwarmer was bloodied during Monday's pregame warm-ups before Oklahoma City's 133-123 triple-overtime victory Monday night, according to John Rohde of The Oklahoman.
"Thunder reserve guard Nate Robinson suffered a small cut above his left eye when he took an inadvertent elbow from Robert Vaden during a pregame 3-on-3 contest inside FedExForum. The wound required two stitches. The game was stopped immediately," Rohde wrote.
Russell Westbrook and James Harden each played about 50 minutes in the Thunder backcourt during the epic contest as Robinson once again took a DNP.
