Public invited to welcome Mountain Ridge team home

The Mountain Ridge Little League team is returning from Williamsport, Penn. on Monday night from its run in the Little League World Series and the public is invited to welcome the team back to Las Vegas at McCarran International Airport.

The team’s plane is expected to land at McCarran about 8:30 p.m., according to a news release. The public is invited to meet the team at the baggage claim area inside McCarran’s Terminal 1.

Mountain Ridge finished its run in the Little League World Series on Sunday when it fell 5-0 to Japan on Sunday in the third-place game. Mountain Ridge was the first team from Nevada to make it to the Little League World Series.
