Repko, Paul excel as 51s upend Bees

Jason Repko went 3-for-3, scored three runs and drove in the decisive run Friday night in the 51s' 6-4 Pacific Coast League win over the Salt Lake Bees in Salt Lake City.

With the score tied at 4 and two outs in the top of the seventh, Chin-lung Hu doubled and scored on a single by Repko. Repko then stole second base and scored on a Xavier Paul single.

Paul also had a two-run single in the third inning for Las Vegas (37-31), which has won nine of its last 11 games.

Ramon Troncoso (4-0) earned the win in relief, shutting out the Bees (43-23) on one hit and one walk in three innings. He struck out two.

51s starter Jon Meloan gave up four runs, two earned, on five hits and four walks in four-plus innings.

Salt Lake scored all of its runs in the fifth inning. Adam Pavkovich led off with his eighth home run of the season, and Freddy Sandoval had a two-run double in the inning.

Terry Tiffee had an RBI double in the first for the 51s.

Dustin Moseley (2-3) took the loss, giving up five runs, four earned, on six hits and three walks in 6 2/3 innings.
