Travis Snider's first home run of the season, a two-run shot in the 10th inning, sent the 51s to a come-from-behind 8-6 victory over the Omaha Storm Chasers in a Pacific Coast League game Saturday night in Papillion, Neb.
After Brett Lawrie hit a one-out single, Snider hit the first pitch he saw from Jesse Chavez over the wall in right field.
Las Vegas (25-18), which won its fifth straight game, trailed 6-3 going into the ninth before tying the score on Brian Jeroloman's RBI single and Danny Perales' two-run triple. The next batter, Jason Lane, hit a fly ball to right fielder Jarrod Dyson, who threw out Perales at home for an inning-ending double play.
The Storm Chasers (23-19) used four hits and a throwing error to go up 3-0 in the second inning. But the 51s answered in the fifth with David Cooper's two-out, two-run single.
Irving Falu and Paulo Orlando hit consecutive run-scoring doubles in Omaha's three-run sixth inning.
Willie Collazo started on the mound for Las Vegas and gave up four runs, three earned, on seven hits and two walks. Closer Danny Farquhar (3-0) pitched a perfect eighth and ninth for the 51s.
Chavez (2-2) was charged with two runs on three hits in 1 2/3 innings.
Lawrie and Perales had three hits each for the 51s, who held a 16-10 edge.
