Cold-shooting Lady Rebels fall at New Mexico, 63-60

The UNLV women’s basketball team shot 29.7 percent from the field and never led in a 63-60 loss to New Mexico in a Mountain West game Wednesday in Albuquerque, N.M.

Bryce Owens had 15 points and Cherise Beynon 10 rebounds for the Lobos (8-9, 4-2), who led by as many as 11 points in the first half and 35-30 at halftime.

Danielle Miller had 18 points, shooting 4-for-20 from the field and 10-for-10 on free throws, for the Lady Rebels (6-11, 3-3), who had a 50-41 edge in rebounds.
