Rebels to open MWC season at New Mexico
UNLV will play three of its first four Mountain West Conference games on the road, beginning with a Jan. 9 date at New Mexico, according to the 2012-13 men's basketball schedule released Friday by the league.
After opening at The Pit in Albuquerque, N.M., the Rebels will host Air Force on Jan. 12 at the Thomas & Mack Center. UNLV next plays at San Diego State (Jan. 16) and at Colorado State (Jan. 19). The road games against New Mexico and San Diego State will be televised by CBS Sports Network, and the Colorado State game is set for NBC Sports Network.
UNLV announced only a partial list of TV appearances and game times.
The Rebels host conference newcomer UNR on Jan. 30 (CBS Sports Network) and return to play in Reno on March 2 (NBC Sports Network).
Also, it was announced that UNLV's nonconference game at North Carolina on Dec. 29 will be shown on ESPN2 at 11 a.m. PST.
