Mountain West sets UNLV’s conference football schedule

The Mountain West released its 2013 football schedules on Thursday.
UNLV’s schedule includes seven home games this fall.
The Rebels open on the road against the Minnesota Golden Gophers on Aug. 29 and play three non-conference foes at home — Arizona, Central Michigan and Western Illinois.
They open conference play at New Mexico on Sept. 28.
The Battle for the Fremont Cannon pitting UNLV and UNR will be Oct. 26 in Reno. The Rebels also play Fresno State and Air Force on the road.
The play home games against Hawaii, San Jose State, Utah State and San Diego State.
The Rebels play their annual Scarlet vs. Gray spring football game at 5:30 p.m. Friday at Rebel Park on campus. Admission is free.
