Victory over Florida school runs Findlay Prep’s record to 20-0
Findlay Prep's boys basketball team moved to 20-0 Friday with a 55-36 win over Fort Walton Beach (Fla.) in Penny Hardaway's Hoopfest in Memphis.
Gavin Schilling was 5-for-5 from the field and scored 14 points to help lead the Pilots, who held Fort Walton Beach to nine points in the first half.
Nigel Williams-Goss scored 12 points, Christian Wood added nine points and five blocked shots, and Stanford Robinson had six points, eight rebounds and four assists for Findlay, which plays Melrose (Tenn.) at 5 p.m. today.
