The Wranglers scored five goals in the third period, erasing a 2-1 deficit en route to a 6-3 victory over the first-place Ontario Reign (18-7-1) on Wednesday in an ECHL game at Ontario, Calif.
Chris Francis knotted the score at 2 three minutes into the final period, and Adam Huxley put Las Vegas up 3-2 four minutes later. Andrew Sarauer and Sean Wiles then put it away, with Sarauer bookending two goals around a Wiles score and a meaningless Ontario goal in the final 5:26.
Wiles' score and Sarauer's last goal came on an empty net. Eric Lampe got the first goal for Las Vegas (10-11-4), tying the score at 1 midway through the first period.
