Anti-Titus ad hits her on health care vote
A day after Nevada's primary election, an outside conservative group launched an ad criticizing Rep. Dina Titus for voting for the new health care law.
Titus, a freshman Democrat who easily won her primary, is vulnerable to defeat in her swing district as Republicans target her seat for a possible takeover.
Titus' general election opponent is Joe Heck, a physician who won the Republican primary on Tuesday.
The new TV ad urges voters to contact Titus and tell her they won't forget that she voted for the health care law, which GOP critics call a government takeover.
The Washington D.C.-based group Americans for Prosperity is paying for the $100,000 ad buy that will run for two weeks on network and cable TV.
The conservative group is for limited government and free markets.
