AROUND TOWN: Samosa Factory Indian Cuisine offers exceptional food, service

For a taste of Indian food in Las Vegas, try Samosa Factory Indian Cuisine, 4604 W. Sahara Ave. The restaurant is open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and offers a large menu of both vegetarian and meat-centered dishes. Entrees include butter chicken, mattar paneer, shrimp korma and many more options.

There is lamb, chicken, fish and beef available, as well as many pea or potato choices. I went there about two weeks ago, and the food was delicious. I haven’t had food like this since I stayed at a friend’s house in New Jersey. The decor is nice and simple, and from the outside, the place doesn’t look like much.

The food, however, doesn’t disappoint. For beverage choices, there are the old standard soda options, or if you want a complete experience, try the Indian chai tea hot during the winter months. There is also lassi on the beverage menu, which is a yogurt drink that almost has the thickness of a smoothie.

In any case, try the Samosa Factory. The food and service both were exceptional.
