As for best ‘Tonight Show’ hosts, consider Fallon

You can date yourself by which “Tonight Show” host you best remember.

Some readers, I am sure, can go back to the beginning with Steve Allen. I am more of a Johnny Carson guy. But I gotta tell you, I think Jimmy Fallon is going to eclipse them all. His stuff is downright funny to me.

In addition, with the advent of Hulu-plus and other TV viewing aids, you don’t have to watch TV on the program sked. You can watch it when you want, you can binge it, and you can watch it deconstructed, skipping stuff you are not interested in.

I’ll always have a soft spot for Johnny Carson, but, damn, Jimmy Fallon is good.
