Avante Homes offers incentives in two-day sales event at Mesa Verde

Avante Homes is launching a weekend sales event today and Sunday at its Mesa Verde neighborhood in Henderson.

In addition to lower prices for select two-story houses, Avante executive Dean Welsh said, the home builder also is including an appliance package with each sale and paying the closing costs.

"We're near the end of sales at our Mesa Verde neighborhood. Beginning today we're offering six of our remaining homes at more than 20 percent off, making prices for single-family, detached homes as low as $179,500," Welsh said.

"Avante Homes is also offering several incentives with each home purchase," he said. "Each home will include a complete appliance package with a washer, dryer, refrigerator, dishwasher and oven. We are even paying the buyers' closing costs this weekend."

Welsh said a preferred lender will be at the neighborhood's sales office today and Sunday to help potential buyers become prequalified for a mortgage. He said there is no obligation to use the lender to take advantage of the special pricing.

"Plus, this weekend we will have lender representatives on-site who speak English and Spanish and can help buyers become qualified for a new home loan and explain different loan programs. For those who qualify, there is the zero-down FHA (Federal Housing Administration) loan program. They (home shoppers) can take advantage of this weekend's sale prices, receive a brand-new appliance package, and buy a home with nothing down," Welsh said.

Visitors can tour the four two-story models. All homes are Energy Star-certified. Quick move-ins are available, according to Welsh.

The 1,181-square-foot Spirit model features two master bedrooms, upstairs laundry room, living room, kitchen with pantry and front porch.

The Dreamcatcher is a 1,419-square-foot design of three bedrooms, 21/2 baths and a loft that can be converted to a third bedroom.

The 1,460-square-foot Serenity features two bedroom and an optional third bedroom, 21/2 baths and an upstairs kitchen and dining areas.

The 1,540-square-foot Legacy includes three bedrooms, 21/2 baths, separate living and dining rooms, kitchen with pantry, upstairs laundry room with linen closet and covered porch entry.

The Mesa Verde neighborhood is centered around a 21/2-acre park with playground, pool and spa that are exclusively for the use of the residents. The neighborhood also is located near the baseball and soccer fields and playgrounds of Henderson's Silver Bowl Sports Complex.

To visit, drive to Boulder Highway and Broadbent Boulevard, turn north and go a quarter mile to Mesa Verde. The models and sales office are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. during the weekend sales event.
