Avante offers incentives at Denali

Avante Homes is offering buyers an opportunity to meet with a mortgage professional Feb. 13-15, from 3 to 6 p.m., at its Denali neighborhood sales center at the Mountain's Edge master- planned community in the southwestern valley.

The builder also will offer special prices on homes in that area Feb. 16-18, according to Dean Welsh, Avante vice president of new home sales.

"Home shoppers can get a loan, buy an Avante home and save as much as $100,000 at our Denali neighborhood," Welsh said. "I invite those people interested in owning a new home to come out to Denali this Wednesday, Thursday and Friday to meet with our lender partner on-site and get prequalified for a new home loan -- a process that can be done in 30 minutes or less.

"They can preview our five model homes at the same time and know they can really qualify for the home they want," Welsh said.

The neighborhood features five two- and three-story detached courtyard-style patio home designs and a clubhouse with swimming pool.

Welsh said Avante hopes the prequalification process can help potential buyers realize they are capable of qualifying for a mortgage and buying a new home in the current housing and mortgage markets.

"There seems to be a lot of misunderstanding of how to qualify for a mortgage and if loans are even available. Many people serious about owning a new home wonder if they can really qualify," Welsh said. "The reality is that if you have a decent job and acceptable credit, then loans are available at truly historically low rates, with small -- and in some cases -- with no money down, and that you can buy your dream home," Welsh said.

"They can then come back to Denali during the three-day holiday weekend (Feb. 16-18, Monday is Presidents' Day) with their prequalification letter in hand, know how much of a home they can afford, and take advantage of our special pricing on these seven homes ready for quick move-in," he said.

The detached courtyard-style patio home floor plans measure from 2,320 to 3,134 square feet and are now priced from the $270,000s. Welsh said these prices are, in many cases, a discount of more than $100,000.

Homes offer three to six bedrooms, 21/2 to 31/2 baths, patio courtyard and alley-accessed three-car garages.

Highlights include ceramic-tile entries, granite kitchen countertops and recessed lighting. Each home also includes a dishwasher, cooktop and convection oven.

The third-story design option provides flex space and lends itself to media rooms, home offices and game rooms.

Residents will have access to a clubhouse with exercise room, pool and spa, as well as a 1-mile jogging trail and playground.

To visit Denali, enter Mountain's Edge at Blue Diamond Road, go south on Buffalo Drive 2.1 miles to Erie, turn left and proceed one mile to Rainbow Boulevard.
