Barack ‘Jimmy Carter’ Obama

I direct regular readers this evening to the CNN poll that finds 52% of Americans now say President Barack Obama doesn't deserve a 2nd term.

The angst over Obama's handling of the presidency is palpable. From the economy to national security, polls like this indicate that Barack Obama is on the fast track to a Jimmy Carter-like legacy.

I'm curious to know how supporters of Obama -- either past or present -- feel about that. Americans flipped Democrats the keys to the U.S. government -- insurmountable majorities in both houses.

Now, if you can believe this CNN poll, they'd just as soon see Obama one and done, as well as wipe out a good number of Democrats, including Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.
