Berkley on December jobless rate: ‘News encouraging … still much work to be done’

U.S. House member and Democratic Senate candidate Shelley Berkley, reacting to today's state report that Nevada's unemployment rate fell to 12.6 percent in December, said this in a statement:

“While any news of progress is encouraging, there is still much work to be done as thousands of Nevadans are still looking for a job. The answer is straight forward: start prioritizing middle-class families ahead of Wall Street millionaires, Big Oil executives and corporations that ship American jobs overseas. This election will present voters with that clear choice between my commitment to creating middle-class jobs and the pro-Wall Street agenda of Washington Republicans like Dean Heller."
