Buchman back in lead; Ivey needs help

At the 11:45 p.m. break, seven players remained alive in the World Series of Poker’s Main Event, although Phil Ivey is on life-support.

Ivey is in seventh place with 6.275 million in tournament chips and with the blinds and antes increasing, the seven-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner is in serious need of a double-up.

Eric Buchman regained the chip lead with 55.65 million while Antoine Saout is close behind with 53.35 million. Darvin Moon continues to cling to third with 32.8 million.

Jeff Shulman, Steven Begleiter and Joseph Cada have all been flopping between fourth, fifth and sixth. Currently, Shulman has 17.65 million, Begleiter has 16.125 million and Cada has 13.7 million.
