Couple happy with purchase of Santa Fe from Planet Hyundai

Frank Guastaferro is an Army veteran who apparently knew how to keep everything in the family since he and his wife, Renee, purchased their 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe from fellow veteran Terry Mills of Planet Hyundai on Memorial Day weekend.

"We were looking for a new car anyway," said Renee Guastaferro. "Frank had already talked to Terry, although we weren't sure if we were going to buy. Terry helped us find the car, helped us qualify for financing that fit in our budget and the rest is history.

"We could not be happier with both the dealership but also Terry, too.

This is the first Hyundai for the couple, who had privously owned two Hondas and a Ford.

"I don't buy any new vehicle without researching first," Frank Guastaferro said. "I read Consumer Reports magazine and various car magazines, and we liked the design of the Santa Fe. All of the reports were very good. We took a test drive in it and were very impressed right off the bat. I am detail-oriented and I loved what I saw."

The versatility of the Santa Fe is yet another reason the couple purchased the vehicle.

"It looks good anywhere," Frank Guastaferro said. "You can have it on the Las Vegas Strip, at the lumber yard or in the mountains and it will look good anywhere."

"I love the color of the Santa Fe and I like being able to sit up high," Renee Guastaferro added. "The controls are all user-friendly. While this is an SUV, it's very plush, too, and that's something that appeals to me."

The Guastaferros are planning to take some long trips in the future and the Santa Fe's performance records impressed them. The vehicle gets 25 mpg on the highway.

"The gas mileage certainly played a big part in our purchase," Frank Guastaferro said. "We have the best of all worlds with this car."

The couple had nothing but praise for Planet Hyundai.

"We would not hesitate to send others to the dealership," Renee Guastaferro said. "The entire staff made the experience a pleasant experience."

Mills said the Guastaferros are examples of how customers end up becoming his best friends.

"They're wonderful people," Mills said. "I'm so glad to be able to help them with the purchase of their vehicle. I loved working with them."
