D.R. Horton offers St. Rose home with upgrades

D. R. Horton--Las Vegas is featuring a Plan Three triplex home at St. Rose Court as its home of the week.

This three-bedroom, 2½-bath floor plan provides 1,617 square feet.

The home comes with granite countertops, upgraded flooring and a kitchen appliance package.

The move-in ready home is priced at $155,900. This weekend buyers can receive a washer, dryer and refrigerator package and builder financial incentives, according to sales agent Mike Bell.

More than 70 families choose St. Rose Court as their place to live in 2010, according to Dennis Smith of Las Vegas-based Homebuilders Research Inc.

Located at St. Rose Parkway and Jeffreys Street, St. Rose Court is one stop light away from more than 20 restaurants and is close to major shopping destinations and many local services. It is located near the Las Vegas Beltway and Interstate 15 via St. Rose Parkway.

St. Rose Court is a gated community, and offers a pool, sand volleyball court, walking trails and dog runs.

D.R. Horton offers two additional floor plans at St. Rose Court.

The 1210 is a two-bedroom, two-bath "lofted" home that features single-level living with living space over the garage. Vaulted ceilings, great room and balconies are standard features of this floor plan. The homes start in price at around $120,000.

"With today's low interest rates, renters are discovering the value equation of buy vs. rent," Bell said. "Monthly rents on area rentals are often higher than a monthly mortgage payment at a $120,000 purchase price."

The 1399 home at St. Rose Court is a three-bedroom, 2½-bath home with a starting price of $139,900. All three-bedroom homes at St. Rose Court feature private backyards and two-car garages.
