Juárez is a city and the seat of the municipality of Juárez in the Mexican state of Chihuahua. The city lies on the Rio Grande, south of El Paso, Texas. Together, these two cities comprise one of the largest binational metropolitan areas in the world, with a combined population of 2.4 million. Burritos Juarez presents a taste of this metro area with tasty burritos, tacos and quesadillas. Tortas, or sandwiches, are made on Mexican bread with meat, lettuce, tomato and guacamole. A large order of nachos has fresh tortilla chips, beans, meat, pico de gallo, Mexican sour cream, guacamole and Cotija cheese. Among the meats to add to your entrees are grilled steak, chicken, shredded beef, marinated pork, beef cubes in red chile sauce (chile Colorado), picadillo (ground beef and potato), tilapia fish filet, colitas de pavo (turkey tail) and barbacoa, beef cheek that is available only on Friday and Saturday. There are flautas, Mexican sodas and breakfast served throughout the day featuring eggs with chorizo, bacon or grilled steak. Several desserts are strawberry, caramel or plain churros. Burritos begin at $4 and tacos at $2.75. Burritos Juarez is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. -- Jack Bulavsky
