PICK OF THE WEEK:
NAPOLI PIZZA
1275 W. Warm Springs Road, Suite 100, at Marks Street, 456-2050
Pizza can be eaten any time of the day. And if that pizza is reminiscent of Naples or New York City, and if you can get that pizza just about any time of the day, then you have found Napoli Pizza. The hand-tossed pies range from 14 inches to the giant 30-inch pizza. All the expected ingredients are available, along with specialty pizzas such as barbecue chicken, white, vegetarian, five cheese, Greek and Mexican (pepperoni, beef, chorizo, jalapenos, onions). There are hot (pastrami, chicken Parmigiana, meatball, Philly) and cold (roast beef, salami and cheese, turkey and avocado) sandwiches, half-pound hamburgers, soups (Boston clam chowder), salads and homemade lemonade and Italian sodas. Popular entrees are seafood linguini, fettuccini primavera, fried or roasted chicken, veal Marsala, stuffed shells, chicken cacciatore, lasagna and eggplant Sorrentino with spinach, salami, ham and ricotta. Featured desserts include cannoli, tiramisu, carrot cake, strawberry shortcake and rice pudding. Ask about daily lunch specials. Pizzas begin at $9.99 and entrees at $11.99. Napoli Pizza is open from 9 a.m. to 2 a.m. Monday and Tuesday, 9 a.m. to 3 a.m. Wednesday and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 4 a.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. to 5 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
