Field at 10, one elimination left; Duhamel maintains chip lead

And then there were 10.

Pascal LeFrancois of Quebec, Canada, has been eliminated in 11th place at the World Series of Poker’s Main Event. One player elimination remains and the $10,000 buy-in No Limit Hold’em World Championship will have its final table of nine.

LeFrancois’ queen-jack ran into the pocket kings held by Joseph Cheong of La Mirada, Calif. Cheong collected LeFrancois’ 11 million-plus in tournament chips after the Canadian’s all-in raise.

LeFrancois earned $635,011 for finishing 11th. The table is now being set for 10 players.

Jonathan Duhamel of Boucherville, Quebec, has the chip lead with 50.2 million. John Racener of Port Richey, Fla., is in second with 30.1 million. Cheong is holding third with 27.9 million.

At the low end is Brandon Steven of Wichita, Kan., who is in 10th with 4.65 million in chips. Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi, a 29-year-old professional poker player from North Miami Beach, Fla., is in 9th place with 8.8 million in chips.
