Findlay finance director touts Toyota loyalty pricing

Findlay Toyota Finance Director Anthony Velardi has been in the car business for almost 20 years. He has seen many trends over the years and likes what he sees now.
"Las Vegas was hit very hard when the market crashed in 2008, but Toyota has really stepped up to help those who are in need of a loan," he said. "The many consumers who lost their houses can still get a very good interest rate on a new Toyota through the Toyota Financial Services Loyalty Pricing Program as long as they are an existing TFS customer and also have no other derogatory credit issues."
Toyota has always been able to rebound well no matter the challenge, Velardi added.
"There is no car company like Toyota with its vast array of models to choose from," he said. "From small cars to luxury vehicles and trucks and SUVs, Toyota covers the gamut in every way."
The native of Seoul, South Korea, said he loves the car business and has enjoyed his 37 years in Las Vegas.
"You really must be resilient in the car business," Velardi said. "However, there is no feeling like the one you receive when helping someone purchase a car."
One of the big keys to the success at Findlay Toyota is the relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
"That's how we make friends," Velardi said. "People walk in here and enjoy the feeling that they receive. We dress casually and we are more relaxed."
Velardi said many of his friends drive Toyotas.
"I had a friend call me out of the blue the other day saying he needed another Toyota," Velardi said. "That sort of thing is not an uncommon experience."
He said the Findlay Automotive Group umbrella has grown to become a very respected organization over the years.
"The Findlay family has long been a grass roots organization with strong ties in the community," Velardi said. "For more than five decades, the Findlays have not only been known for the car business but also for their dedication to the community in so many ways.
"When it comes to buying a car in Las Vegas, I think it's easy to see why so many turn to the Findlay organization when they need help."
Findlay Toyota, at 7733 Eastgate Road in Henderson, is part of Findlay Automotive Group that was formed more than 50 years ago by the late Pete Findlay, whose son, Cliff Findlay, now spearheads 26 new and preowned vehicle dealerships in Nevada, Utah, Idaho and Arizona.
