Friendly Ford celebrates 43 years in Las Vegas
Milestones are best marked with the people who made them possible, in the place where they happened. Friendly Ford, 660 N. Decatur Blvd., is doing just that: celebrating its 43rd anniversary this month with customers and employees.
“When I started here over 32 years ago, I had no idea that Friendly Ford would become home for me,” said Greg Haase, service manager. “Friendly Ford is just that, friendly. To its customers and to its employees.”
Another 37-year Friendly Ford veteran agrees. Tom Gallina, sales and leasing specialist, said he was initially attracted to the dealership because of the way it treats people.
“It’s like family here with our customers, too,” he said. “I have generations of families I have served while at Friendly Ford.”
Former Mayor Oscar Goodman, Las Vegas’ goodwill ambassador, has attended every Friendly Ford anniversary celebration since taking office in 1999.
“I’m very proud of Friendly Ford,” he said. “You have a lot of strong history in this community.”
This combination of customer and employee satisfaction is a key component in the business’ success, Chairman Ed Olliges said.
“Forty-three years of employee satisfaction equals 43 years of customer satisfaction,” he said.
Friendly Ford is a 14-time President’s Award winner, Ford’s highest honor for customer satisfaction.
“These awards and Friendly Ford’s success is due to our employees’ complete dedication to our customers,” Olliges said.
