Friendly Ford kicks off Labor Day sales event

The Ford certified preowned Labor Day vehicle portion of the car business is off and running at Friendly Ford, 600 N. Decatur Blvd.

The program, started this past week at the dealership, provides an alternative for buyers who want to capitalize on a preowned vehicle that includes Ford’s extensive certified preowned 172-point inspection. Only Ford vehicles with less than 80,000 miles qualify.

Friendly Ford Used-Car Manager Marc Crevling said Friendly Ford is proud of the program.

“Nothing beats a Friendly Ford certified preowned vehicle,” Crevling said.

The program includes a 12-month, 12,000-mile comprehensive limited warranty coverage; along with a seven-year, 100,000-mile powertrain limited warranty coverage along with a vehicle history report and 24-hour roadside assistance.

The program also includes a full tank of fuel, fresh oil and filter; and service available at any Ford or Lincoln dealer in the United States and Canada.

Crevling added that the program helps customers who would like a Ford for a lower cost.

“This is really a great opportunity for those who might be in need of a quality vehicle for a price lower than a new vehicle,” Crevling said. “Friendly Ford wants its customers to have a great buying and ownership experience.

“The Ford certified preowned program not only provides peace of mind for the buyer, but also for those of us who sell the vehicles,” he added. “Many times, people who purchase from us become our friends and we want them to be comfortable with the entire car-buying experience.”
