Harmony to close The Fields, last neighborhood to complete Aliante

Harmony Homes officials said The Fields at Aliante offers buyers the last chance to buy a new home in the Aliante master-planned community in the northern Las Vegas Valley.

Geoff Gorman, vice president of sales for Harmony Homes, said this opportunity, along with the community's flexible floor plans, have been strong selling points for the neighborhood.

"The Fields really represents the last new homes to be built in Aliante," he said of the master-planned community covering about 1,905 acres and 6,500 total homes.

"Now that Aliante is established, it's nice for our buyers to have all the neighborhood amenities in place, from parks to shopping centers and from restaurants to the Aliante Station hotel and Casino. You don't have to wait for these things to be built years later like in other suburban areas of town."

Aliante dedicated 400 acres to recreation and public use.

For instance, Gorman said residents of The Fields can enjoy the nearby 20-acre Nature Discovery Park, Deer Springs Park, Aviary Park and linear parks, in addition to retail, dining, schools and a public library.

Residents can also enjoy the public Aliante Golf Club, which is a few blocks from The Fields.

Homes at The Fields range from 2,227 to 2,858 square feet, with as many as five bedrooms and 2½ baths. Prices start from $177,990.

The Fields offers four two-story floor plans, with the largest home featuring the builder's Over My Garage, or OMG, option that includes a room built above the garage of the home.

The Residence 2858 offers three bedrooms, 2½ baths, great room, a "super loft" and a two-car garage.

By choosing the OMG option, Gorman said buyers can have as many as five bedrooms in this model.

The next largest model measures 2,447 square feet, with four bedrooms, 2½ baths, great room, den and two-car garage. Options include a fifth bedroom and a three-car garage.

The Fields also offers a Residence 2389 plan featuring a front courtyard with three bedrooms, 2½ baths, great room, loft, den and two-car garage. Options include a front deck, fourth bedroom, extended great room and an additional "sport garage" that can be used as a work room, home gym or place to store all-terrain vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles or similar equipment.

Finally, the Residence 2227 features three bedrooms, 2½ baths, den and two-car garage. This home with 2,227 square feet of living space also offers a front courtyard.

To visit, take the northern portion of the Las Vegas Beltway to Aliante Parkway. Head north on Aliante, turn west on Elkhorn Road and then turn left into The Fields.

Gorman said the locally owned and operated builder is selling homes at a record pace in Southern Nevada, selling 130 new homes in the first quarter of 2012, more than half of the builder's total sales in all of 2011.

Harmony Homes has now sold more than 1,000 homes in Southern Nevada since the company was formed in late 2008.

It offers 14 neighborhoods throughout the Las Vegas Valley, with one- and two-story homes priced from the $110,000s and ranging from 1,462 to 4,761 square feet.

Sales offices are open daily from 10 a.m.-6 p.m., except on Monday when they open at noon. For more information, call The Fields at 413-6200 or visit www.HarmonyHomes.com.
