Harmony’s Sunrise Highlands prices start at $66 per foot

Harmony Homes officials said the locally owned and operated builder, which formed in 2008, is enjoying its best sales year ever. They attribute the success to an improving housing market and the value of the company's 14 Las Vegas Valley communities.

"The decreasing supply of used homes is certainly driving more buyers to our doorstep," said Geoff Gorman, vice president of sales. "But our buyers tell us it's ultimately the value and quality of our homes that really drive them to buy a new home from us."

He said examples of this value are the communities of Summit and Talus at Sunrise Highlands, which are on the east side of Las Vegas.

"They offer fantastic value, with home prices as low as $66 per square foot," Gorman said.

Prices at Summit start in the $170,000s for homes ranging from 1,817 to 3,754 square feet. Summit features five floor plans, including single-story and two-story designs with as many as four bedrooms and as many as 2½ baths. Two-story plans come with three-car garages and as many as five bedrooms.

Prices at Talus start in the $150,000s, with single-story and two-story floor plans ranging from 1,801 to 3,024 square feet. Its two-story homes measure from 2,409 to 3,024 square feet and include as many as four bedrooms with options for as many as six bedrooms and 2½ baths with an optional third bath.

The builder includes standard features at Summit and Talus such as soft-water loops, granite kitchen countertops, separate tubs and showers and dual sinks in the master suites, raised-panel doors and paver driveways.

To visit Summit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Boulder Highway and head north. Head east on Sahara Avenue past Hollywood Boulevard. Turn right on Dawning Day Drive and then right on Young Sky Avenue.

To visit Talus at 2746 Sunrise Bluff Drive, take U.S. Highway 95 to Boulder Highway and head north. Travel east on Sahara Avenue and turn right on Hollywood Boulevard. Turn left on Sunrise Highlands Way and proceed to Sunrise Bluff Drive.

Other Harmony neighborhoods include Canyon Falls and The Fields at Aliante.

Canyon Falls features homes ranging from 3,876 to 4,900 square feet on lots as big as 20,000 square feet. Prices start at $429,990. Canyon Falls is adjacent to Mountain's Edge, near the intersection of Buffalo Drive and Blue Diamond Road. To visit, take the southern Las Vegas Beltway to Buffalo Drive and head south to Blue Diamond. Or, take Interstate 15 to the Blue Diamond exit and travel west to Canyon Falls.

Homes at The Fields range from 2,227 to 2,858 square feet, with as many as five bedrooms and 2½ baths. Prices start from the $170,000s.

Take the northern portion of the Las Vegas Beltway to Aliante Parkway. Head north on Aliante, turn west on Elkhorn Road and then turn left into The Fields.

Harmony Homes has sold more than 1,000 homes since it was formed in Southern Nevada in late 2008.
