Henderson Hyundai tops state in sales

Henderson Hyundai is on a roll. Named the No. 1 Hyundai dealer in Nevada for the second straight month in December, the dealership is poised to continue its growth by living up to a simple goal.

"We take care of our customers by providing the best value, service and car-buying experience in the state," said Frank Maione, owner of Henderson Hyundai.

Taking care of customers is the main goal. From its courteous and professional sales team, to its certified technicians in the service department, Henderson Hyundai makes it easy for car buyers to find the best cars, at the best price in the region.

"We try to be different," said Dave Sapper, general manager at Henderson Hyundai. "We talk to customers and ask them what they want when they buy a new car and, overwhelmingly, they say they want a good price, excellent service and the peace of mind to know that when they come back for service, they will be taken care of."

For example, Henderson Hyundai is the only dealership in Nevada to offer new-car buyers free oil changes for as long as they own the car.

"No other dealer can offer the free lifetime oil change," Sapper said. "We listened to our customers and they really appreciate the added value they get when they buy here."

It helps that Hyundai is making some of the best cars on the market. With exceptional fuel efficiency and safety features, customers are choosing the Hyundai brand over other makes and models, dealership officials said.

The Hyundai Elantra won a lot of awards since it was launched and was named 2012 North American Car of the Year. The Elantra was announced as the winner during a press conference during the 2012 Detroit Auto Show. The jury was composed of 50 journalists from the United States and Canada who analyzed more than 50 vehicles launched last year on the North American market.

Out of the three finalists, the Hyundai Elantra won by a significant margin, with the Korean sedan earning 174 points, 13 more than the car in the second place and 19 more than the car in third place .

Jayne O'Donnell, a member of the jury representing USA Today, said: "The Hyundai Elantra is sporty, yet sensible. Luxurious, yet affordable. Spunky, but safe. The Elantra is a series of paradoxes and every one is another argument for the latest, impressive entry in the Hyundai lineup."

Henderson Hyundai is at 460 N. Boulder Highway. For more information, contact Dave Sapper at 565-1500 or visit www.hendersonhyundai.com.
