How much ‘Year of Action’ can we afford?

President Obama has declared 2014 as the “Year of Action.”

As of May 6, our hard-working leader has attended the White House Correspondent’s Dinner — hashtagged the “nerdprom” — celebrated Cinco de Mayo with little fiesta in the Rose Garden and played 11 rounds of golf at a cost in airfare alone of just under $3 million. (For the math inclined, that’s about $15,000 every time the president drives the ball off the t-box.)

But wait, there’s more! This week he’ll jet to California to attend four fundraisers.

And the people said: “How much more ‘action’ we can afford?”
