Inspirada aims to inspire recreation

Inspirada, a master-planned community taking shape in the southern foothillls of the Las Vegas Valley, offers recreational amenities such as parks and trails.

"Inspirada truly is a city within a city, offering residents easy access to schools, community centers, swimming pools, baseball and soccer fields, active and serene parks, restaurants, shopping and more," said John A. Ritter, chairman and chief executive officer of Focus Property Group, which operates as the general manager of the community. "Unlike any other planned communities in the valley, Inspirada homeowners will not have to rely solely on their cars to enjoy all of these amenities because Inspirada is designed for those who love to walk or ride a bike."

More than 300 acres of land are geared to parks and open space, including more than 20 miles of trails.

The community features seven villages, each with amenities reflective of its theme.

Music is the theme of Solista, which has its own park with swimming pools and a play area, as well as a community center. Ceramista features planned activities such as Farmer's Markets and craft fairs.

Palestra offers residents athletic fields and venues, including a community pool complex. Nestled between Ceramista and Palestra is Balera, a village that celebrates dance.

The village of Esplora neighbors the Sloan Canyon National Conservation Area and will be the trailhead for the hiking destination. Pintura offers art classes, workshops and contests. Cienza features star gazing and activities at the community center.

The Civita town center features dining and shopping outlets, including a 1,000-room neighborhood resort and casino. Festivals and concerts will take place at the village, which is connected by and surrounded with 22 miles of walking trails and bicycle paths and tree-lined boulevards.

The community features five home styles.

The Estate Homes range from 2,200 to 4,400 square feet and feature open balconies, wrap-around porches, intimate backyards and recessed two- and three-car garages with porte cocheres.

Village Homes range from 1,900 to 3,500 square feet. Front porches with arched or covered entryways are featured characteristics. Garden Homes are two-story residences ranging from 1,350 to 2,000 square feet with front landscaped paseos.

City Homes are available in two- or three-story floor plans ranging from 1,400 square feet to 2,800 square feet.

Mansion Homes consist of four residences grouped together under one roof with the external appearance of one home.

Prices begin in the mid-$200,000s.

To visit Inspirada, take Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, exit Eastern Avenue and head south to St. Rose Parkway. Turn west to Starr/Executive Airport Road and turn south. Follow the signs to the community entrance. The information center is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
