KB lowers prices on homes within Henderson’s Inspirada

KB Home has announced new pricing on homes at two neighborhoods in Inspirada, a master-planned community in Henderson.
Residences in Matisse Village Home and Michelangelo are now available from the high $100,000s.
In addition to the new pricing, KB Home also provides its new Energy Performance Guide, or EPG, which is a numerical rating of a home's energy efficiency and provides the homeowner with an estimate of monthly electric and gas costs for a home.
The builder offers this new program in all of its Las Vegas neighborhoods.
The EPG allows buyers to better understand what their monthly expenses will be. KB Home is the first national builder in the industry to provide such a rating for all its homes, according to company officials.
Similar to the miles per gallon rating or mpg, which reflects automobile fuel efficiency and is a standard disclosure when purchasing a vehicle, the KB Home EPG informs homeowners and prospective buyers about the relative energy efficiency of a home.
Company officials said this new system illustrates to home shoppers the advantage of buying a KB home over a typical new home or resale property. It also provides them with an estimated dollar amount for monthly electric and/or gas energy costs for the home as designed.
The KB Home EPG is posted in all of the model homes and presented to buyers when they purchase a KB home.
All homes from the Michelangelo collection are single-story designs from the builder's new Open Series collection. They have a great room living areas and the option to add covered patios to extend living space outdoors.
One plan offers additional flexibility with option to convert a den space into an extra bedroom.
Homes with as many as four bedrooms, three baths and two-car garages are priced from the $170,000s.
The Matisse Village Homes at Inspirada are also priced to sell from the $160,000s.
The six available two-story designs include as many as five bedrooms, three baths and two-car garages.
The neighborhood feel of Inspirada is enhanced by the rear-loading garage designs from this series of homes, according to company officials.
Inspirada residents have access to amenities, including private community pools, parks and a community center.
All new KB homes built in Las Vegas are Energy Star qualified, Energy Plus certified and Built to Order, which is a new program the builder offers to help homeowners choose home interior design elements, home sites and neighborhoods.
Company officials said its Energy Star qualified home is up to 45 percent more efficient than a home built as recently as 10 years ago and an Energy Plus certified home is 15 percent more efficient than that.
A new Energy Plus certified home built by KB Home will allow homeowners to reduce their carbon footprint and monthly utility bills for years to come, said company officials.
