KB Home is offering ready-to-move-in residences at its Remington and Maravilla Courts communities.
"While we're known for the almost custom-home-like experience we call Built to Order, we understand that some buyers need to move in quickly, or want to spend the upcoming holiday season in a new home, and lucky for them, we have homes available for quick move-in across the Vegas Valley," said John McLaury, vice president of sales and marketing for KB Home's Las Vegas division.
KB Home's Remington is a private, gated community located in the northwestern valley on Elkhorn Road just west of Durango Drive where there are a limited number of homes ready for move in. As of press time, available homes included two-story designs with desirable features such as granite kitchen countertops, upgraded kitchen appliances and deluxe master baths. Prices start in the $120,000s.
This weekend home shoppers can view both homes ready for move-in as well as Built to Order model homes. There are five two-story home plans to choose from at Remington ranging from 1,386 to 1,867 square feet with prices starting at $117,990.
Two model homes are included in the builder's Open Series collection. These homes are efficiently designed to devote the most square footage to the areas of the home where people spend the majority of their time -- the kitchen, dining and living spaces.
Additionally, a few quick move-in homes remain at Maravilla Courts located in Mountain's Edge in the southwest. Some of the two-story courtyard homes ready for move-in include an 1,812-square-foot design with three bedrooms, 2½ baths and a flexible loft space.
Mountain's Edge residents enjoy access to a network of biking and walking trails that run throughout the community and numerous parks. Shopping and dining opportunities are also nearby at the Blue Diamond Marketplace and Arroyo Market Square.
All KB homes in Las Vegas are designed to help homeowners save money on monthly expenses by earning both the Environmental Protection Agency's Energy Star as well as NV Energy's Energy Plus certification. Features like programmable thermostats, radiant barrier roofing, low-e windows and efficient heating and cooling systems all help keep household utility bills low, McLaury said.
To better illustrate the advantages of such a home, KB Home now includes its Energy Performance Guide in all of its new homes. Similar to an mpg sticker on cars, the EPG provides KB homebuyers with estimated monthly electric and gas costs for their new home.
