LANNI’S FAN CLUB: Departing MGM Mirage chairman gets tweaked

  I assume there are still tickets available for the Terry Lanni rooting section now that the MGM Mirage Chairman has announced his retirement following news that he faked an MBA from USC.

  One gaming industry insider whispers, “'MBA’ stands for ‘Master Bullshit Artist’. ... I actually think he earned that award!”

  Another critic observes that MBA just might stand for “Most Bonuses Awarded.”

  Another Strip watcher notes, “When they get in trouble, why do guys who have made a fortune in a 24-hour business suddenly say they are leaving to spend more time with their family? Can’t they come up with a better alibi than that?”
