Las Vegas dentist counts on his long-time sales consultant

Long-time Southern Nevada dentist Dr. Robert Earl has a friend in Acura of Las Vegas sales consultant Louie Doblado.

In fact, for the past 16 years, Earl and his family have been buying cars from Doblado, himself a native Las Vegan and 1979 graduate of Bishop Gorman High School.

"Bob kind of wandered into the store one time back in 1994," Doblado recalled. "We got to talking and discovered that we knew of each other from clear back in the 1960s.

"In fact, my wife, Kelli, used to go to Dr. Earl when she was a young girl. Once we started to realize how much we had in common, we became really good friends."

The first automobile purchase made by Earl was an Acura Integra in 1990. Since then, the Earl family has purchased a total of eight vehicles.

Earl, who has lived in Las Vegas since 1946 and graduated from Las Vegas High School, wouldn't buy a car from anyone else.

"Louie never tried to sell me a bill of goods, and I appreciate his professionalism," Earl said. "It is hard to find that quality in a car salesman.

"The Acura is a high-end car and it is very reliable. In addition, I don't worry when it comes to the car being covered."

The friendship has also led to great business for Doblado.

"You also have to remember the countless referrals the Earl family has sent to me over the years," Doblado said. "They have even sent me referrals from all over, including Utah.

"They have bought new and preowned vehicles from me. The Earls know that we'll take good care of them when they come to our dealership."

Doblado said business has been excellent at Acura of Las Vegas. In particular, the 2010 Acura TL was recognized for winning the Residual Value Award from Automotive Lease Guide, an automotive consulting agency.

"This is a great award," Doblado said. "The TL was lauded for having the highest percentage of the original purchase price after a three-year period. It marked the fourth year in the row that the TL won the award."

Acura buyers are known for their loyalty.

"Brand loyalty is unbelievable with the Acura brand," said Acura of Las Vegas General Manager Tim Donnelly. "People who own an Acura will always want to own an Acura."
