Las Vegas’ former city hall to look greener, cleaner and livelier under Zappos

Demolition work at Las Vegas' former city hall is well under way  as online retailer Zappos converts the building to a corporate headquarters.

Drawings depicting what it's supposed to look like when the project is complete show a building that has more grass, a sleeker look in the plaza and an overall livelier feel.

Zach Ware, a Zappos employee whose been leading the way on the city hall conversion as well as Zappos CEO Tony Hsieh's separately funded Downtown Project, says the drawings are "a basic overview of what we see happening at the former city hall" but cautions things could change by late 2013 when the $40 million conversion is scheduled to be complete.
