Lennar to hold year-end inventory promotion

The countdown to Lennar's year-end inventory sale is on. The sales event will end Oct. 16.

The builder is offering special financing through its preferred lender, reduced prices and upgraded and energy-efficient features included in the price of the home.

During this year-end sale, Lennar is kicking off its We'll Show you the Green campaign.

The builder and Universal American Mortgage Co. offers buyers special financing options, including 3.75 percent (4.146 percent APR) And buy-down financing rates of 1.875 percent for year one, 2.875 percent for year two and 3.875 percent (4.622 percent APR) for the balance of term through, according to Virginia Ferrer, a new-home consultant for Lennar.

Buyers who purchase a new Lennar home by Oct. 16 will receive additional discounts, no closing costs, and special payment options through the lender, she said.

"This month will be crucial for buyers who have been anxious to buy a new home because these deals will not last long," Ferrer said. "Plus, all of our communities offer Lennar's Everything's Included program with all the popular upgrades and green features already included in the home, offering even more savings and incentives to buy now."

Lennar is the Everything's Included builder, but they don't just offer granite countertops and maple cabinetry. Lennar has included green features that go above what it takes to be Energy Star qualified, Ferrer said.

Lennar's home automation, dual-flush toilets, energy-saving water heaters and radiant-barrier roof sheeting are just some of the features in Lennar's Green Technology Suite that helps save home buyers money on their energy bills, she added.

"Buying a new Lennar home pays off each day with our Green Technology Suite," Ferrer said. "Lennar has gone the extra mile to make sure our homeowners get value out of their homes long after they're sold."

The suite features the latest in modern green technology that not only helps save the environment, but also saves hundreds of dollars each year on energy bills, she said.

According to the Department of Energy E-scale, Lennar home buyers can save an average of about $1,078 per year.

In addition, Lennar will hold its Spook-ta-cular event Oct. 8 from 11:30-2 p.m. at Lexington Park. The event will include a barbecue lunch and a pumpkin patch for the kids.
