May means free cars at Planet Hyundai

Planet Hyundai is going to give away a preowned vehicle every day in May.

"This promotion is designed to give back to the community," said Marty McKenna, general manager of Planet Hyundai. "There is so much negative news out there and we understand people need something positive. We're happy to provide the positive."

The promotion will run from May 1 through May 31. Customers can enter to win daily by test driving a vehicle at the dealership, located at 7150 W. Sahara Ave., without obligation to buy. Drawings will be held nightly at 8 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays. Winners must be present when their names are pulled from the drawing drum.

Planet Hyundai is home to an extensive lineup of new Hyundais, which are backed by the Hyundai Assurance Plus program. The program aims to give customers peace of mind in a troubled economy by allowing customers who finance or lease a new Hyundai to return the car within a year if they lose their income. The "plus" part of the program means Hyundai will make payments for three months if a customer loses his or her job.

"It's great to work for a car company that is willing to do something for the consumers in this economy," McKenna said. "People are nervous right now and want assurance that they will not be stuck if they make an automobile purchase.
