Meet the Wednesday Warriors

   Local authors who call themselves the Wednesday Warriors Writers Group will have a book signing and discussion from noon to 4 p.m. Wednesday at Maui-Wowi Hawaiian Coffee and Smoothie Shop, 4950 S. Rainbow Blvd.
   Featured authors will include Dennis Griffin, C.D. Williams, Merle Savage, Jack Miller, Keith Bettinger and Marshal Taylor.
   Both fiction and nonfiction books will be discussed on topics ranging from a terrorist kidnapping in the Philippines to the mob days in Las Vegas.
   Members of the group have a background in the military or law enforcement or both and gather to share their love of writing.
