Meritage sets goal with event

According to Fred Hermann, regional president for Meritage Homes, Meritage is holding its 25 Homes in 25 Days Savings Event at all of its Las Vegas area neighborhoods.

Now through Dec. 20, Meritage is offering financial incentives on a selection homes to reach a goal of selling 25 homes. Also, the first 25 people to buy a Meritage home will receive $2,500 in new appliances at no additional cost.

"With super low interest rates, the federal tax credit extension for first- and second-time homebuyers, affordable home prices and our $500 Total Move-In Program, now is the most opportune time to buy a new home. Plus, we're sweetening the deal with huge savings on any new home and a free holiday appliance package," Hermann said.

Hermann said as an added incentive, many of the showcase homes will be ready for move-in just in time for the holidays with the support of Meritage's preferred in-house lender. This provides homebuyers with a streamlined process and competitive rates, as well as Meritage programs.

Meritage homes are Energy Star certified and features GE appliances, low-e windows and a 10-year construction defect warranty.

With several neighborhoods throughout the Las Vegas area, Meritage offers new homes in a variety of architectural styles and floor plan designs in single-family and townhome communities ranging from 1,085 to 3,000 square feet with up to five bedrooms and three baths.

Priced from the low $100,000s, many of Meritage's neighborhoods are gated and offer amenities such as a community center, neighborhood park, fitness center, barbecue pavilion, swimming pool and playgrounds.

Meritage's new Great Falls at Yellowstone neighborhood features three new home designs ranging from 1,626 to 1,911 square feet.

The homes offer up to four bedrooms, up to three baths, a two-car garage, and may include a loft or den.

Located in the master-planned community of Mountain's Edge, Great Falls residents have use of Yellowstone's recreation center that features a spa, three pools, a state-of-the-art fitness center, playgrounds, community room, catering kitchen and outdoor barbecue area.

Additional new home designs are now available in the master-planned community of Providence located on the northwestern Las Vegas within Northern Terrace by Meritage Homes.

Concord at Northern Terrace features three new designs ranging from 1,626 to 1,900 square feet. The homes offer up to four bedrooms, three baths, a two-car garage, and may include a loft or den.

Andover at Northern Terrace is an all single-story gated community ranging from 1,780 to 2,124 square feet. Homes offer up to four bedrooms and three baths.

A third community, Brookline at Northern Terrace, is set to open in early 2010 and will feature homes measuring 2,400 square feet. Residents at Northern Terrace will have use of The Club at Northern Terrace, a clubhouse featuring pools, spa, state-of-the-art fitness center, playgrounds, community room, catering kitchen and outdoor barbecue area.
