Mountain Falls offers golf-course homes
More than 400 homeowners reside at Mountain Falls, a master-planned golf-course community in Pahrump, and the population continues to grow, according to Linda Kemper, a representative of developer William Lyon Homes.
"People who are just visiting Mountain Falls for the first time can't believe their eyes," Kemper said of the community located 45 miles west of the Las Vegas Strip. "In just three years William Lyon Homes has completely transformed the area. Mountain Falls has evolved into a community of indescribable beauty with state-of-the-art amenities, a sought-after master plan with a unique identity. Nothing like it existed in the area before William Lyon Homes began developing."
Mountain Falls Golf Club, an 18-hole course that includes water features, is the centerpiece of the community, Kemper said. Dozens of mini-parks and miles of walking trails extend from the course through new home communities built by William Lyon Homes, Desert Wind Homes, Celebrate Homes and Classic Homes. Buyers can choose from 23 floor plans, she said.
Mick Galatio, president of Desert Wind Homes, builder of Tivoli at Mountain Falls, said he believes Pahrump will continue to be a desirable location to buyers looking for a small-town atmosphere with easy access to Las Vegas.
"We believe in building our homes in the best possible locations and felt Mountain Falls was the finest choice in Pahrump. Buyers today can choose to live in a subdivision or a community. With all of the amenities that Mountain Falls offers, it's truly a community setting where people can get to know their neighbors and enjoy the lifestyle they deserve," Galatio said.
Robyn Yates, sales manager for Villa Serena and Villagio by Celebrate Homes, echoed Galatio's sentiment.
"Mountain Falls is appealing to buyers because it offers an incredible golf course community lifestyle that's very attainable," she said. "The value is apparent to buyers and we expect our new communities to take off quickly."
For less than $45 in monthly homeowner association fees, residents have use of Mountain Falls' amenities, including a community resident facility located in a Mediterranean-style clubhouse overlooking the golf course. Highlights include a fitness center, locker rooms, lounge with a pool table and multi-purpose room where fitness and recreational classes are offered for a nominal fee. An outdoor aquatic center offers adult-only and family splash zones. Adult residents have use of a 25-yard lap pool and Jacuzzi, while families can take advantage of a free-form pool and splash pad with interactive water play stations.
The Grill Room also occupies the clubhouse. Open to residents, golfers and the public, the family friendly restaurant serves breakfast and lunch daily, dinner Thursday through Saturday, and Sunday brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The restaurant also serves poolside snacks during the swim season. Banquet facilities can accommodate up to 200 guests.
"Our vision for Mountain Falls has become reality with cooperation from the other builders who work by our side to deliver top-quality homes in a setting that's second to none," Kemper said. "We encourage everyone to experience Mountain Falls, even if it's to take in the scenery and enjoy lunch at the Grill Room. We guarantee that people will be amazed by what they see."
