MOVIES: Free shot at ‘Capitalism’

Las Vegas is one of the 10 cities Michael Moore deems to be in bad enough shape to be given a free advance screening of his latest documentary, “Capitalism: A Love Story.” The 7 p.m. screening today at the Century 18 Orleans is supposed to be for those who have “fallen on hard times,” Moore explains in an e-mail blast.
Of course there are promotional screenings of movies every week. But you usually have to score tickets through a radio station or the Las Vegas Review-Journal. This time, Moore writes, “You don’t need to bring any “proof” of your situation — just show up — it’s the honor system, no questions asked.”
That said, it’s probably better to show up in a ball cap than dressed like the robber baron guy on the lid of the “Monopoly” game.
