MUSIC: Madonna Returns to Vegas

Yeah, but how’s she gonna top that slow-mo pole dance atop a gyrating leather saddle?
Last time Madonna was in town at the MGM Grand in May of 2006, she descended from the rafters in a giant disco ball, rode astride some topless male dancers with horse leads in their mouths and made feathered seem in style for the first time since Vince Neil was pulling chicks on the Sunset Strip some two decades ago.
    And now, for an encore.
The dates have just been announced for Madonna’s forthcoming “Sticky and Sweet” world tour, and Vegas is one of 16 North American markets that she’ll be visiting, once again hitting the MGM Grand on Nov. 8.
The tour is in support of Madge’s recently released “Hard Candy,” a sweaty, head-spinning dancefloor romp where the beats come on like mortar fire.
Last go ‘round, Madonna notched the highest grossing tour ever for a female performer, raking in over $190 million for her “Confessions” jaunt.
Expect more big numbers this time.
Ticket on sale dates have yet to be announced, but having gotten a $120 million advance from Live Nation for future touring and album sales royalties, don’t expect a cheap date with the Material Mom.
