Navy hero’s dog killers found guilty

On the grand scale of today's news, this probably won't get much mention. But I think it ought to be noted somewhere on our website.

So, I draw your attention to this story out of Texas where Alfonso Hernandez and Michael Edmonds were found guilty for shooting and killing a yellow lab belonging to Marcus Luttrell, a highly decorated Navy Seal and author of the book "Lone Survivor."

You can read the whole story here ... about Luttrell's heroism, how he got his dog, DASY, and how she got her name.

In the end you'll wonder what goes through people's mind sometimes that would cause them to shoot a dog for no apparent reason, then stand over it, and laugh.
