The Spring Mountain Republican Women's Club plans to host a membership drive and wine tasting fundraiser from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Total Wine & More, 730 S. Rampart Blvd.

Women's seders set at Deli Den,
Sahara West Library
Hadassah of Southern Nevada plans to host a women's seder from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Deli Den, 6640 N. Durango Drive.
The Passover holiday meal and service will be le d by Kate Harris and Elizabeth Bricker. The cost is $25.

The Na'amat Annual Women's Seder is planned for 4 p.m. April 13 at the Sahara West Library, 9600 W. Sahara Ave.
Enjoy a meal and a special seder designed especially for women and led by cantorial soloist Lola Rivera.
Admission is by paid reservation. Contribute a Passover dish and $20 donation, or if you do not want to bring a dish, the contribution is $30.

Artisans urged to sign up
for craft and art event
A community yard and craft sale is planned from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 9 at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 4601 W. Lake Mead Blvd. Crafters and artists are urged to participate.
A donation of $5 will be requested if the vendor brings a table and $10 if the church provides it. Vendors need not be affiliated with the church and may sell any legal product, except food.

Mountainview Hospital plans
siblings class for april 12
A sibling class is planned from 6 to 7:30 p.m. April 12 at MountainView Hospital's lobby classroom, 3100 N. Tenaya Way.
The class will help siblings learn the responsibilities of being an older brother or sister and help them learn about new babies and their needs.
The cost is $10 for one sibling and $15 for two or more siblings. The class is appropriate for children 2 to 12.

Ask-A-Lawyer program open
to those facing foreclosure
The Ask-A-Lawyer program is scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon April 12 at the Regional Justice Center, 200 Lewis Ave. Registration begins at 8 a.m. the day of the session.
Homeowners who are going through foreclosure and have elected foreclosure mediation in an effort to save their homes and have questions in preparation for their mediations can receive free legal advice at the Regional Justice Center's Self Help Civil Law Center through a program run by the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada.
Another event is planned for April 26.

NV Energy makes donations
to benefit social causes
United Way of Southern Nevada and United Way of Northern Nevada and the Sierra received $1.3 million from NV Energy's corporate sponsorship and employee donations to help further the nonprofits' community-based agenda.
The money raised during United Way of Southern Nevada's campaign season provides the organization with the means to find lasting solutions to social problems in early education, financial stability and access to healthcare and support for today's safety net funding of immediate needs.
