Nevadans have supported this presidential campaign the most — MAP
It’s evident that presidential hopefuls shell out a relatively exorbitant amount of money campaigning for office. But how much money do the candidates get from contributions?
With the 2016 presidential campaign in full swing, real estate website Estately put together a map, using data filed with the Federal Election Commission (FEC), outlining which candidates are receiving the most donations in each state.
Based on Estately’s findings, with 28 states — Nevada included — donating more money to her than any other candidate, Hillary Clinton dominates the country in terms of quantity of financial supporters.
Trailing in second place was Ben Carson, who had eight states donating to his campaign more than any other candidate. Carson announced Wednesday he could not be attending the next GOP debate, saying he doesn’t see a “political path forward” in the election.

According to the FEC, of the $126.4 million total donations Hillary Clinton has received since she began her campaign, $682,411 has come from residents residing in nine counties across the Silver State.
